More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows 12in Hedda The Milk for Santa Plush
This 12-inch Hedda plush stands out for combining soft, ultrasoft material with a charming Christmas-themed bio, making her ideal for both cuddling and display. Compared to the smaller Micromallows, Hedda offers a more substantial size that’s perfect for hugging during holiday travel or cozy nights. However, her limited availability—only in one character and size—might disappoint collectors seeking variety. Her plushness and official licensing lend authenticity, yet she’s not suited for rough play or active kids. This pick makes the most sense for those who want a high-quality, holiday-themed plush that doubles as a display piece or travel companion.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material for cozy cuddling
- Unique bio and character backstory add charm
- Official licensed product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to fans of the Squishmallows series
- Only available in one character and size
- May be too soft for rough play
Best for: Families seeking a soft, collectible plush for holiday travel or decorating their home.
Not ideal for: Kids who prefer active play or rough handling, as Hedda’s ultrasoft material may not withstand rough treatment.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Hedda
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Kid
- Included Components:1 12in Squishmallows Hedda Milk for Santa Plush

Our verdict“Hedda is a charming, high-quality plush ideal for collectors and holiday travelers who want a soft, themed companion.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar features 24 miniature 2.5-inch Micromallows, making it perfect for holiday countdowns and collection expansion. Unlike the larger Hedda or Fox plush, these tiny characters—like Brooke the Polar Bear and Manny the Snowman—offer a fun daily surprise that fits easily into small spaces. It’s a delightful gift for kids and fans who love to display their collection or enjoy holiday traditions. The main tradeoff is their small size, which might not satisfy those looking for cuddly, larger plush toys. If you prefer a seasonal display or gift that emphasizes variety, this calendar provides great value and holiday cheer in a compact package.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed Micromallows
- Compact size makes it easy to display or gift
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small-sized plush toys
- May not appeal to those unfamiliar with Squishmallows
- Only suitable for holiday season
Best for: Holiday enthusiasts who enjoy daily surprises and small collectible plushes for display or gifting.
Not ideal for: Those seeking larger, hug-worthy plush toys, as Micromallows are tiny and better suited for decoration or collection.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar offers a fun, affordable way to build a holiday-themed collection with daily surprises for fans and collectors.”
Squishmallows Amazon Exclusive Holiday Fox 14″ Plush
The 14-inch Amazon-exclusive Fox plush, James, offers a larger size with ultrasoft material, making him ideal for hugging or display. Compared to Hedda, James provides a more prominent presence on shelves or beds, appealing especially to collectors seeking a stand-out piece. His unique bio and friendly expression add to his charm, but his single-character focus limits variety for those wanting a collection of different characters. While perfect for hugging or decorating, James’s size makes him less portable for travel. This choice makes the most sense for those who want a sizable, cuddly fox that doubles as a decorative or gift item for fans of the series.
Pros:- Large 14-inch size for hugging and display
- Soft, ultrasoft material for comfort
- Unique bio and character add collectible appeal
Cons:- Limited to a single character design
- Size may be too big for some children or travel
- Higher price point due to size
Best for: Collecting enthusiasts and gift-givers looking for a larger, plush holiday character for display or cuddling.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a smaller, travel-friendly plush for young children, as James may be too large for small hands or travel bags.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fox
- Model Name:SQCR09328
- Model Number:SQCR09328
- UPC:191726990130
- Age Range:3+
- Category Rank:#2,834 in Stuffed Animals & Teddy Bears
Our verdict“James the fox makes a perfect, sizable gift for collectors or kids who love cuddly plush with holiday charm.”
Squishmallows 8in Fifi the Red Fox Frosted Ornament
Fifi the Red Fox ornament, at 8 inches, combines ultrasoft plush with festive appeal, making her an excellent decorative piece for the holiday season. Compared to larger plushes like Hedda or James, Fifi’s smaller size and ornament design focus on aesthetic appeal rather than cuddling. Her plush texture and unique bio elevate her beyond a simple decoration, appealing to collectors who want holiday-themed collectibles. The main drawback is her limited use—strictly decorative—so she’s less suitable for kids seeking plush to hug or play with. Fifi is ideal for those wanting a cute, plush holiday ornament that doubles as a collectible display piece.
Pros:- Soft and plush texture for a premium look
- Official licensed product
- Cute holiday-themed design
Cons:- Limited to decorative use
- Small size may not appeal to all collectors
- Not suitable for rough handling or active play
Best for: Holiday decorators and collectors seeking a cute, plush ornament to adorn trees or holiday displays.
Not ideal for: Children or fans wanting plush toys for cuddling or active play, as Fifi is primarily decorative.
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Fifi the Red Fox
- Type:Ornament
Our verdict“Fifi the Red Fox ornament is a charming, plush holiday decoration perfect for display and seasonal collectors.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This 4-pack offers a selection of holiday-themed plushes, including characters like Maritza the Cactus and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte. Compared to the single larger or smaller options, this pack delivers a variety of characters with distinct personalities and bios, making it ideal for gift-giving or building a diverse collection. The plushes are high-quality and ultrasoft, but the lack of specific size details makes it harder to compare directly with larger plush like James or Hedda. This set is best suited for fans who want several characters in one purchase, though it may be less appealing to those seeking a single, sizable plush for cuddling.
Pros:- Includes four different characters with unique bios
- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Official Jazwares product, Amazon exclusive
Cons:- Limited size information, which may affect size expectations
- Only seasonal, less versatile outside holidays
- Limited to fans of the Squishmallows brand
Best for: Collectors and gift-givers who want a variety of holiday plushes in a compact set for gifting or display.
Not ideal for: People seeking a single large plush or plush specifically for active play, as the set focuses on multiple small plushes.
- Includes:4 plush toys
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality plush
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This holiday 4-pack is a versatile gift set for fans wanting a variety of plush characters for collection or display during the season.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This festive mini plush bouquet stands out for its portability and versatility, making it ideal for holiday gifting or small display spaces. Compared with larger plush options like the 14-inch Nick the Santa Claus, these Micromallows are much easier to carry and share, but their small size limits display impact and collectability for serious fans. The three detachable characters—Laurel, Zumir, and Brooke—offer playful versatility, yet the set’s limited character count may disappoint those wanting more variety. This pick makes the most sense for buyers seeking a cute, easy-to-gift holiday decor or stocking stuffer that’s simple to transport.
Pros:- Compact size makes them easy to display or carry
- Detachable plush characters for versatile play
- Festive holiday design
Cons:- Limited to small size, may not appeal for serious collectors
- Includes only three characters, may feel incomplete
Best for: Parents or gift-givers looking for a festive, small, and affordable holiday surprise for kids or friends.
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger, more detailed plush or those wanting a broader holiday display with multiple characters.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows plush toys
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
Our verdict“This set is perfect for those seeking a cute, portable holiday gift or small decoration.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
This 8-inch plush makes a charming holiday decor piece and cuddly companion, especially for fans seeking a themed plush with a festive twist. Unlike the larger Nick the Santa Claus or the advent calendar, Fleur’s size is ideal for small hands and versatile placement around the home or in a child’s bed. Its soft, ultrasoft material ensures cozy cuddling, but its limited size and seasonal availability mean it’s less suitable for year-round display or serious collectors. This pick is best for families wanting a festive, plush accessory that doubles as a holiday gift or decoration.
Pros:- Soft and high-quality material for cuddling
- Unique character with a festive holiday theme
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday season use
- Only available in one size (8 inches)
Best for: Parents or holiday decor enthusiasts wanting a soft, festive plush for kids or seasonal decorating.
Not ideal for: Collectors or those seeking a plush that can be kept out year-round since Fleur is specifically holiday-themed and limited in size.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“This plush is a delightful holiday-themed gift or decoration for fans of small, cuddly plushies.”
Squishmallows Original 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
Nick the Santa Claus plush, at 14 inches, offers a substantial and cuddly holiday centerpiece, ideal for display or gifting. Compared with the smaller Fleur or the Micromallows bouquet, Nick’s larger size makes it more impactful as a seasonal decoration or gift for older children and collectors. Its high-quality ultrasoft material ensures a plush, huggable feel, but its size may be less practical for young children who prefer smaller, easier-to-carry toys. This plush suits buyers who want a prominent Santa figure for holiday decorating or a memorable keepsake.
Pros:- Soft and high-quality ultrasoft material
- Large size makes it a striking holiday display piece
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Too large for very young children to carry comfortably
- Less portable for travel or small spaces
Best for: Families or collectors seeking a sizeable, festive plush to serve as a holiday display or gift centerpiece.
Not ideal for: Young children or buyers wanting smaller, more portable plush toys for daily play or stocking stuffers.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- UPC:191726929970
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“Ideal for those who want a prominent holiday plush that doubles as a seasonal decoration or collectible.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This exclusive 4-pack offers a variety of adorable holiday characters—Ingred the Purple Cow, Omar the Bear, Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament, and Luna the Penguin—making it perfect for gifting or spreading holiday cheer. Compared to the single larger plush or advent calendar, this set provides multiple characters in a small size, ideal for stocking stuffers or gift bags. However, the small size means they might not appeal to those seeking plushes suitable for cuddling or display as stand-alone pieces. This option is best for buyers wanting a range of festive characters at an affordable price and limited space.
Pros:- Festive and adorable holiday-themed characters
- Made with ultrasoft, cuddly material
- Includes unique bios for each plush
Cons:- Limited to holiday season only
- Small size may not satisfy older children or those wanting larger plushes
Best for: Gift-givers wanting a variety of small, cute plush toys for holiday stockings or small gifts for all ages.
Not ideal for: Collectors or those seeking larger, more detailed plush for display or long-term collection.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
Our verdict“This set is a practical, fun option for holiday gifting or decorating with a variety of cute, small plush characters.”
Squishmallows 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers a delightful countdown experience with 24 mini Micromallows plush toys, including popular characters like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat. Compared to the larger plush or the 8-inch Fleur, this set provides a daily surprise and collection-building excitement, perfect for dedicated fans and collectors. The small size makes it easy to display or gift, but it may not appeal to those unfamiliar with Squishmallows or seeking larger plush toys. The absence of detailed character descriptions could be a downside for newer fans wanting more context about each character. This product is ideal for collectors who enjoy the holiday countdown tradition.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed plush toys
- Compact size makes for easy display or gifting
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small-sized plush toys only
- No detailed character descriptions included
- May not appeal to casual buyers unfamiliar with Squishmallows
Best for: Dedicated Squishmallows fans and collectors who want a festive, collectible countdown experience.
Not ideal for: Young children or buyers seeking larger, more cuddly plush toys for daily play or decoration.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is perfect for dedicated collectors looking to enjoy a daily holiday plush surprise.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right Squishmallows holiday plush involves more than just picking your favorite character. Consider size—smaller ornaments are great for decorating or gifting, while larger plushes make a bold holiday statement. Design and exclusivity matter if you want something unique or collectible, but these often come at a higher price. Think about the purpose: are you buying for a child, a collector, or as a seasonal decoration? Additionally, multi-packs can offer great value but may lack individual character appeal. Finally, pay attention to the plush’s softness and durability, especially if it’s for frequent cuddling or gifting to children.Size and Space Considerations
Size plays a crucial role in how you’ll use your holiday Squishmallow. Compact options like ornaments or 8-inch plushes are perfect for decorating trees, desks, or small spaces. Larger plushes, such as 14-inch or 24-inch models, make a more prominent holiday statement but require more storage and can be pricier. Think about where you plan to display or gift the plush; larger sizes tend to be more suitable for dedicated spaces or as centerpiece gifts, while smaller ones fit easily into stockings or gift bags.
Design and Themed Appeal
Themed designs are key to capturing holiday spirit. Classic characters like Santa or festive animals tend to be more universally appealing and are easier to incorporate into holiday decor. Limited editions or exclusive designs, such as those from Amazon or Jazwares, often feature unique details that collectors love but may come with a higher price tag. Consider whether you prefer traditional holiday motifs or whimsical characters, and balance this with your budget and collection goals.
Edition and Exclusivity
Limited editions or exclusive releases can add a special touch to your collection or gift. Advent calendars, for example, offer a daily surprise that enhances holiday anticipation, making them ideal for interactive gifting or family activities. However, exclusives tend to be more expensive and may sell out quickly. If you prioritize rarity or unique designs, weigh these factors against availability and cost, but don’t forget to ensure they match your overall holiday theme or recipient’s preferences.
Value and Multi-Pack Options
Multi-packs, such as the holiday 4-pack, can deliver excellent value, especially if you’re buying for a family or multiple recipients. These sets often include a variety of characters, adding diversity to your holiday decor or gift list. The tradeoff is that multi-packs sometimes feature less detailed plushes or may be less exclusive, which could be a downside for collectors. Balance your desire for quantity against the need for quality and uniqueness when choosing these bundles.
Durability and Comfort
Since Squishmallows are often cuddled and handled frequently, consider their softness and build quality. Plushes designed for children should be highly durable, with secure stitching and hypoallergenic materials. For decorative purposes, plushes with detailed embroidery or fragile features might be less practical. Comfort also matters if the plush will be a bedtime companion—pick models with plush, non-irritating fabrics that withstand holiday play and handling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for young children during the holidays?
Yes, Squishmallows are generally very soft, plush, and safe for children, making them excellent holiday gifts. However, it’s wise to check the size—larger plushes might be overwhelming for very young kids—and ensure there are no small parts that could pose a choking hazard. Most Squishmallows are made from hypoallergenic, non-toxic materials, but always review specific product details if safety is your priority. They also hold up well to frequent cuddling, which is perfect for bedtime or holiday play.
What should I consider when choosing a Squishmallows for a collector?
Collectors often prioritize limited editions, exclusive characters, or rare designs. Look for special releases like Amazon or Jazwares exclusives, which tend to be more unique and may appreciate in value over time. Size and packaging also matter—collectors often prefer boxed or mint-condition plushes. Keep in mind that exclusive or limited-edition Squishmallows usually come at a premium price, so weigh the investment against your collection goals and budget.
Is it better to buy a single plush or a multi-pack for holiday gifting?
Buying a multi-pack provides greater value and variety, especially if you’re gifting multiple people or want a diverse holiday display. However, individual plushes often feature more detailed designs and higher quality, making them more special for a single recipient. Multi-packs can sometimes include more generic or less intricate plushes, but they’re a practical choice for bulk gifting or holiday decor. Consider your main goal—value, variety, or uniqueness—before choosing the right option.
Do limited-edition holiday Squishmallows tend to sell out quickly?
Yes, limited-edition holiday Squishmallows, especially those from exclusive releases or collaborations, often sell out rapidly due to high demand. If you’re aiming to add a rare piece to your collection or gift something unique, it’s best to purchase early or from reputable retailers with restock alerts. Waiting too long might mean missing out on these special plushes, which can become highly sought-after collector’s items over time.
How do I store or care for my holiday Squishmallows to keep them looking new?
To maintain the softness and appearance of your Squishmallows, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can fade colors over time. Gently spot clean with a damp cloth if necessary, avoiding harsh detergents that could damage the fabric. For long-term storage, keep them in a breathable container or bag to prevent dust buildup. Regular fluffing can also restore their plush appearance, ensuring they stay festive and inviting for holiday seasons to come.
Conclusion
For those seeking the best overall holiday Squishmallow, the 12-inch Hedda the Milk for Santa combines charm, size, and versatility, making it suitable for most buyers. If you want maximum value, the Holiday Micromallows Advent Calendar offers interactive fun and multiple plushes for a reasonable price. Collectors or fans of exclusive designs should consider the Amazon Exclusive Holiday Fox or Jazwares Holiday 4-Pack for their unique appeal. Beginners or casual buyers will appreciate the smaller or more affordable options, while dedicated collectors might prioritize limited editions. Use these insights to choose a Squishmallow that fits your holiday plans and budget perfectly.
